Welcome to Bulk Barcode Generator (bulkbarcodegenerator.pro). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and the barcode generation tool provided on it. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please close the site and do not use it.
The short version. The tool is free to use, including for commercial purposes, with no signup and no row limits. You are responsible for the accuracy of the values you generate and for verifying that printed labels scan correctly in your workflow. We provide the tool "as is" and cannot be liable for business losses caused by mis-scans, misprints, or regulatory non-compliance downstream.
1. What the service is
Bulk Barcode Generator is a free, browser-based tool that generates barcode label images in six symbologies (Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, QR Code, Data Matrix, and Code 39). It supports single-value generation, bulk generation from pasted lists, and bulk generation from CSV or Excel uploads. Output formats include PNG, SVG, PDF (Avery label-sheet layouts and single-label sizes), and ZPL commands for Zebra-compatible thermal printers.
All barcode generation runs locally in your browser. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data does and does not leave your device.
2. Free use, including commercial use
You may use the tool free of charge, without a subscription, without an account, and without registration, for any lawful purpose including commercial use. Specifically, you may:
- Generate barcodes for products you sell on Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, or any other e-commerce platform.
- Generate barcodes for internal inventory management, warehouse operations, third-party logistics, or manufacturing tracking.
- Print generated labels for physical products, packaging, shipping, or asset tagging.
- Share the URL of this site with colleagues, customers, or in publicly visible tutorials, blog posts, or videos.
You retain full ownership of every barcode value you enter and every image or file the tool produces from your input. Because we never see your data, we cannot and do not claim any rights over it.
3. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the tool for any purpose that is illegal in your jurisdiction, and specifically not to:
- Generate barcodes that impersonate or infringe on another party's registered UPC, EAN, GTIN, ISBN, or brand-owned identifier. If a UPC or EAN prefix does not belong to you (whether directly from GS1 or via a reseller), do not encode it into a barcode intended for retail sale.
- Attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer for republication, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the site or its underlying hosting.
- Embed the tool inside another product presented as your own without significant added functionality.
- Use the tool in connection with unlawful goods, counterfeit products, or content that violates applicable law.
4. Your responsibility as the user
The tool generates a technically correct barcode from whatever value you provide. It does not validate that the value is meaningful, unique, registered to you, or suited to the downstream system that will scan it. Because a bad label can cause real business damage — a rejected Amazon shipment, a mispriced product at checkout, a misrouted package — you are responsible for the following:
- Input accuracy. Verify that the values in your CSV, Excel file, or pasted list are correct before generating labels. Excel in particular can silently strip leading zeros from UPC and EAN codes; we display a warning banner when we detect this pattern, but the final check is yours.
- Symbology choice. Choose the right barcode format for your use case. UPC-A and EAN-13 are for retail products with registered GS1 prefixes; Code 128 is for internal SKUs and shipping; QR Code and Data Matrix are 2D formats for URLs, tracking codes, or dense data.
- Print calibration. Test-print a single label sheet before running a large batch. Browser print dialogs frequently apply silent scaling that shifts labels by 3 to 5 percent, which is enough to misalign Avery sheets from the third row onward. Our exported PDFs embed the "PrintScaling: None" flag, but you must still verify your printer settings.
- Scan verification. Scan a printed sample with the actual scanner or camera that will read the labels in production, before committing to a large print run.
- Regulatory compliance. If your industry has specific labeling requirements (food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hazardous materials, alcohol, tobacco, or exports subject to customs regulations), you are responsible for meeting those requirements. The tool does not enforce or verify regulatory compliance.
5. No warranty
The tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the tool will meet your requirements, that it will operate without error, or that any specific barcode generated by the tool will scan on any specific device.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Bulk Barcode Generator, its operator, or any contributor to the site be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, wasted label materials, wasted printing costs, rejected marketplace shipments, or customer disputes, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the tool, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
Because the tool is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the tool is limited to zero dollars (USD 0), which reflects the fact that no fee has been paid.
7. Intellectual property
The name "Bulk Barcode Generator", the domain bulkbarcodegenerator.pro, the site design, the user interface, and the original written content on the site (including landing pages, blog articles, and this Terms document) are the property of the site operator. The tool relies on several excellent open-source libraries, each governed by its own license, including bwip-js (MIT), jsPDF (MIT), PapaParse (MIT), SheetJS (Apache 2.0), and JSZip (MIT).
You may take screenshots of the tool for reviews, tutorials, or educational content without asking permission. For any other use of the site's original content or branding, contact us first.
8. Third-party services and advertising
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic and may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Your interactions with these third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for a full list of third-party services used on the site.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the tool available around the clock, but do not guarantee uptime. Because the tool runs client-side after the initial page load, a temporary hosting outage does not prevent already-loaded browser tabs from generating barcodes. We reserve the right to add features, remove features, change the user interface, or discontinue the service entirely. If we permanently shut down the site, we will announce the shutdown at least 30 days in advance on the homepage so that current users can adapt.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be summarized in a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days.
11. Governing law
These Terms are interpreted under the laws applicable to the site operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to that venue.
